Welcome to the Vava'u Turtle Monitoring Program website!
Funded by the UK based Rufford Small Grant Foundation, this project has been set up in partnership with the Vava'u Environmental Protection Association (VEPA) to address some of the key issues surrounding turtle preservation and education here in the island group of Vava'u in the Kingdom of Tonga.

The first consultation meeting of the MECC led Community Monitoring and Eco-Tourism Development project was held in Nukaloafa on 5th October. This NZ Aid funded project will be implemented over 4 years in close co-ordination with the us at VTMP. Click here to read the full article.
